Would be nice not to have to work for a living (someday, I
hope). Actually I have been pretty lucky doing interesting things all of my
career.

Career History
-
After moving back to the county, I worked part time in the IT Department at Loyalist College as an analyst, and taught some computer course
- I was back at
London Life as an I.S. System Architect (responsible for all of the "non
functional" aspects of projects that I am assigned to) for 5 years
- I was a Project Engineer with the Canadian subsidiary of TVworks
(when it was Liberate) for about a year, but was
"downsized".
-
I was with Solect Technology group, which got bought out
by Amdocs for (4 years) where I was a
sales engineer and managed the sales engineering and proposal groups before being "downsized"
during the "Internet Tech Wreck".
-
I was a sales engineer and consultant at the late
Digital
Equipment Corporation (DEC, hard to believe that they invented the
Minicomputer and were the second largest computer company in the world ) before they were bought by
Compaq (2.5 years and 7 year before I was with London Life). Compaq is part
of HP now.
-
I managed a team in infrastructure at London
Life Insurance in London Ontario (3 years).
-
I was in various positions at
Transport Canada (now Nav
Can) in London, Toronto, Cornwall and Toronto Ontario (11
years).
