The earliest Pierce in Prince Edward County was listed on the Master roll, No. 16, of the 5th Township, North Marysburg, on October 4, 1784.
84th Regiment - 1 male single - Engineer's Cataraqui.
The Loyalists and disbanded troops who were waiting at Kingston set out on June 16 up the Bay of Quinte in their heavily laden bateaux for the Township of Marysburg. Captain Archibald McDonnell along with 153 men, 29 women, 67 children and 2 servants reached here in the fall of 1784.

This is a handwritten list and the spelling is as exact as possible. There were 33 acres cleared and lots were drawn. Patrick did not take up residence immediately as he was still at Cataraqui.
Patrick - United Empire Loyalist. 1754 - Died before 1861. Alive in 1790 on list. Lot 8, Concession 1.
1. Sarah- 1785-1857. Married Alexander McDonnell, North Marysburg, in 1774. Died on December 6, 1857 and was buried in the Glenwood Cemetery.
2. William - 1787-1860. Married Anna Winch. Buried in the old St. Mary Magdeline Cemetery.
3. Martha - 1800. Married Alexander Shannon on October 24. (1861 census).
4. Mary Anne - 1800-October 7, 1855. Married Joseph Hughes in 1783 and died on March 12, 1877. She was buried in the Stirling Grimmon Cemetery.
William Pierce married Anna Winch on July 23, 1808. He died in 1860 and was buried at the Old St. Mary Magdeline Cemetery.
Children:
1. Elizabeth married Stephan Clark. Elizabeth died in 1815 and Stephan in 1807.
2. Samuel - 1819.
3. Clarissa married Lewis Minaker. She was born in 1823 and died in 1901 and he was born in 1819 and died on March 7, 1872. They were both buried in the Old Rose Cemetery.
4. Robert married Sara. He was born in 1825 and Sara was born in 1835 and died in 1868. They were both buried in the St. Mary Magdeline Cemetery.
5. John married Lydia Ann Minaker (1861 census). 1832-1923 Waupoos 1834-1908. Church of England Cemetery.

Cynthia Ann Minaker married William W. Bongard.
Levi Minaker married Margaret E. McQuoid.
Peter Minaker married Emma J. Harrison.
Eliza Minaker married Edward A. Powers.
Sara Jane Minaker died at a young age.
Elizabeth married Stephan Clark. She died in 1815 and he died in 1807.

The five children drowned from a boat which capsized in Smith's Bay on July 8, 1866.

Leah Shannon lived at Pierce's Crossroad, north of Smith's Bay. In Census 1861 - it was a frame 1 1/2 storey house.
John Pierce married Lydia Anne Minaker (1834 - 1908).
He was born on June 4, 1832 and died in the year 1923. Buried at Waupoos Church of England Cemetery in Waupoos. John Pierce farmed at Bayside, Lot 50.

1. Sara 1856-1942 - Church of England Cemetery. Anne never married, looked after her father, then went to Elmer Harrison's.
2. Mary 1857 (Palen).
3. Pricilla (1858-1917) married Marshall Harrison (1850-193l). She was buried in the Church of England Cemetery.
4. Levi (1860-1944) married Fannie Hicks (1861-193l). They were both buried in the Church of England Cemetery.
5. Clarissa (1873-1958) married Harry Burley (1867-1962). She was buried in the Glenwood Cemetery.
6. Jack (John) went to California. He owned land there and grew oranges near Fulsum. Clarence visited them.
Levi Pierce (February 24, 1860-March 8, 1944) married Fanny Hicks (December 17, 1861-February 7, 1938) on August 30, 1882. He was buried at the Church of England Cemetery Waupoos. She taught S. School at Bongards.

1. Clarence Bertram (March 2, 1889 - November 11, 1976) married Edna Viola McCornock (October 10, 1891-April 26, 1980) on December 23, 1916. Buried at the Cherry Valley Cemetery.
2. Archie L (189l-1921) married Rosa Storms (1895-1929). Buried at Glenwood Cemetery. She remarried William Goodwin.
3. Grace Darling (1896-March 29, l911). She was unmarried. Died very young.
4. Edna married Reverend Mayes (Niagara Falls). She was a High School teacher.
5. Oscar Harold (1885-1962) married Edna McDonald. He was buried at the Waupoos Chuch of England Cemetery.
6. Nellie married Elmo Christie (Virginia, U.S.A.).
Clarence Pierce married Edna Viola McCornock on December 23, 1916. Clarence Pierce was born on March 2, 1889 and died on November 11, 1976. Edna Viola McCornock was born on October 10, 1891 and died on April 26, 1980. They were both buried at the Cherry Valley Cemetery.

1. Ralph B. was born on August 25, 19l8. He married Doris Striker U.E.L. on November 17, 1945. Doris Striker was born on January 30, 1923.
2. Ruth E. was born on November 9, 1919. She married Gerrard Phelan (Toronto) on February 6, 1943. Gerrard Phelan was born on October 24, 1918.
3. John E. was born on November 29, 1920. He married Evelyn Bashford (England) on August 12, 1941. Evelyn Bashford was born on April 13, 1923.
4. Norman was born on February 24, 1927. He married Melba Calnan on March 17, 1951. Melba Calnan was born on January 12, 1929.
1. Linda Mary was born on August 11, 1947. She married Denis Curtis (England) on October 6, 1979. Denis Curtis was born on January 8, 1947.
2. Eric William was born on September 30, 1952. He married Isobel Legault (Cornwall) on May 26, 1979. Isobel Legault was born on July 21, 1953.

1. John was born on June 10, 1952 and died (drowned in B.C.) on July 14, 1975.
2. Mark was born on June 8, 1954. He married Susan Crewe and they divorced. On August 27, 1983 Mark married Irene Bond.

5. Sara Jane died at seven years old. She fractured her skull in a fall.
Lewis Minaker lived on the homestead 1866, 1st Concession, Bayside lot 46, 1861. (First log house).

Eliza Anne Minaker was born in 1850 and died in the year 1933. She married Edward Powers in North Marysburg. He was born in 1844 and died in 1908. They were both buried in Glenwood Cemetery.

1. Lewis M. married Sarah Gordon (Oshawa). He was born in 1876 and died in 1945. He was buried in the Glenwood Cemetery.
2. Hattie M. married Emerson Burley.
3. Franklin married Bessie Howe (Cressy). He was born in 1876 and died in 1959. He was buried in the Glenwood Cemetery.
4. Nellie M. married Conrad Nathon Hicks. She was born in 1881 and died in 1962. Conrad Nathon Hicks was born in 1873 and died in 1944. They were both buried in the Glenwood Cemetery.
Stewart married Ethel Mary Harrison (Cressy). He was born on July 31, 1879 and died November 25, 1963. Ethel Mary Harrison was born in 1883 and died July 2, 1942. They were both buried in the Glenwood Cemetery.

2. Raymond Powers married Marion Storms.
3. Helen Powers (R.N.) married George Harm (N.Y.).
4. Lillian Grace died in 1908.
Raymond Powers married Marion Storms on May 17, 1935. He was born on March 2, l910 and Marion Storms on August 6, 1915.

2. Kim was born on May 21, 1965.
3. Kevin was born on October 4, 1966.
4. Aynsley was born on January 31, 1969.
5. Ashley was born on March 6, 1970.
Martha married Alexander Shannon. She was born in 1811 and he was born in 1800 and died on October 24, 1878. They settled on Waupoos Island. (1861 Census).

1. Margaret married George Wright (Waupoos).
2. Ellen married Robert Hobson.
3. Catherine married (Hobson?).
4. Martha married Patrick Call. She was born in 1811 and died on February 3, 1883. Patrick Call was born in 1801 and died in November 1848. They were both buried in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
5. John married Mary E. Call (Black Creek). He was born in 1842 and died in 19--. She was born in 1840 and died in 1916. They were both buried in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
6. William (Moved to Watertown?).
7. Alexander died when he was 12 or 13 years of age. He injured himself at school.
8. Joseph Warren married Ellen Kearney. He was born in 1856 and died in 1921. Ellen Kearney was born in 1854 and died in 1914. They were both buried in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
Pricilla was married to Marshall Harrison. She was born in 1857 and died in 1917. Marshall Harrison was born in 1850 and died in 1931. They were both buried in the Church of England Cemetery at Waupoos.

1. John Arthur was the eldest. He went to the United States with the Leaming's. (Dr.).
2. Marshall Elmer married Lulu Van Vlack.
3. Fredrick Laverne was the youngest.

1. Ralph Franklin was born on March 2l, 1922. He married Shirley Margaret Gordon at Coppercliff on September 7, 1946.
2. Glen Arthur was born on September 4, 1923. He married Margaret Edna McBeath at Campbellton, N.B. on June 28, 1952.
3. Harold Laverne was born on February 10, 1925. He married Hilda Noreen Storms at North Marysburg on June 1, 1946.
4. KEVIN was born on October 4, 1966.
5. AYNSLEY was born on January 31, 1969.
6. ASHLEY was born on March 6, 1970.
Daughter Clarissa
Clarissa married Harry Burley. She was born in 1873 and died in 1958. Harry Burley was born in 1867 and died in 1962. They were both buried in the Glenwood Cemetery.
Son Howard
Howard married Kay Harrison on June 20, 1936. Howard was born on September 25, 1905 and Kay Harrison was born on November 13, 1916.
Howard's Son Ralph
Ralph married Betty Goodman on July 17, 1961. He was born on May 22, 1940 and Betty Goodman on November 19, 1941.

Lawrence was born on July 27, 1946.
Son Gerald
Gerald married Marjorie Harrison. Gerald was born on November 16, 1903 and Marjorie Harrison in September 1901.
Gerald's Son Douglas
Douglas was born in 1940 and died in 1952 at the age of twelve.
Annie McCornock married Dave McCornock.
Annie was a sister to Byron, Rosewell and Mary Jane.
Annie and Dave had four children. They were Clair, Gracie, Viola and Edith.
Byron Harrison married Sara Patterson. They had two children and they were Mabel and Beulah.
Mabel married Harry Clark (Capt.) and Beulah married Harry Whattam.
Rosewell Harrison married Maud Bongard. They had only one child and his name was Allan. Allan had two children and they were Elsa and Hilda.
Mary Jane married Adam Williams.
